North Dakota summer camp affords dogs of a levels of hunting experience to train with wild birds in real hunting terrain. Dogs are roaded several times weekly to ensure they are in the proper physical condition for the demands of hunting. During the heat of the day when birds are less active the dogs are trained in the yard to re-enforce commands such as whoa and to work on proper stances. During more active bird times of the day, dogs are trained on several different farms and terrain throughout the region from horseback.
